Beginners Class
Bring your digital camera and plan to leave class knowing what every button and switch does. We will discuss all popular brands of digital cameras; Kodak, Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Fuji, Samsung, Panasonic, Pentax, Casio, GE and Leica.
Besides learning how to use your camera, you'll learn about getting photos in and out of your computer and methods for printing digital photos.
Advanced Class
Have a digital SLR (like a Canon Rebel or Nikon D Series) and want to learn more? Bring your camera and your questions to to class and learn about f-stops, shutter speed and how to use your flash, Then how to use this knowledge to take great action shots, portraits or just better snapshotsd around the house.
 Classes are led by Allen Showalter. He is the 2008-2009 International President of the Photo Marketing Association (www.pmai.org) also the area's only Certified Photofinishing Engineer and Certified Photographic Consultant. Mr. Showalter is the owner of Showalter Imaging Group (King Photo's Parent company) has appeared on TV as "The Photo Doctor" and on the popular call-in show on WSVA radio.
